British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
