In a surprising partnership that defies usual predictions, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of prohibited rituals and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The narrative features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.
The adventure focuses on "strange trials and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Changes
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
